Edward is married to Sian and they live in Westcott Surrey, with their four children: Ben, Oliver, Elin and Tess, plus Tasha, their dog (along with 6 chickens, 2 guinea pigs and Alduin, the bearded dragon). A vegetarian family, they enjoy the irony of living in an old butcher's shop.

Sian is a full-time mum who is a lapsed librarian who supports Arsenal.

Ben (19) works for WH Smith. He has inherited the Aston Villa-supporting gene from his dad and plays for Brockham football team. He is lapsed trombonist.

Oli (17) plays football for Holmbury and Westcott Wolves.  He has passed his grade 8 violin with a distinction and plays with the Surrey County Youth Orchestra; he also has the misfortune to be a Crystal Palace season-ticket holder.

Elin (13) plays netball. She enjoys art, plays the clarinet and supports Arsenal (like her mum). Her favourite animal is a fox.

Tess (11) plays the trumpet (like her dad) and has passed her grade 3; she has also got a merit for grade 4 cello. She goes to Guides, loves animals - especially dogs - and supports Crystal Palace like her brother. She loves all sports and plays squash, hockey, netball, football and rugby.
